I got a nastigram from ITV claiming:

https://archive.org/details/The39Steps_1935

https://archive.org/details/YoungandInnocentTheGirlWasYoung

https://archive.org/details/things_to_come_ipod_version

among some others that are gone.

The I saw that Peter Cushing and Donald Pleasance in 1984 disappeared. Underlying rights by Orwell because UK TV shows are only protected for 50 years?

I'm kinda wondering whether any of the Arthur Askey films are public domain. He passed on in 1982, so I think we may have copyright issue on all those. I dunno. Is someone smarter than I am?
